S.H.A.R.E.™ is a 5-story, Simulation Hospital offering on-site, virtual, and extended-reality simulation opportunities in a variety of clinical, research, and educational settings.  S.H.A.R.E.™ offers fully-equipped, customizable environments ranging from an ambulance bay, emergency department, incident command center, outpatient clinics, labor and delivery suites, operating rooms, adult and pediatric intensive care, medical-surgical units, a home health care residence, and much more.

Simulated Settings, Real-World Impact

The opening of the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies' (SONHS) Simulation Hospital Advancing Research & Education (S.H.A.R.E.™) on the Coral Gables campus on September 28, 2017 signaled a transformation in the education of health care professionals. The five-story, 41,000-square-foot, fully equipped facility serves as a hub for students, health care professionals, first responders, and corporate partners to design, test, and master skills and technologies to transform health care education, research and practice.
