The Immersive Nursing & Health Care Workshop

The Immersive Nursing & Health Care Workshop is a three-day experiential learning program designed to introduce high school students to a variety of health care careers through hands-on simulation, interactive activities, and guided reflection. Hosted in the S.H.A.R.E. Simulation Hospital Advancing Research & Education® space, the workshop provides an authentic glimpse into real-world clinical environments while emphasizing teamwork, communication, patient safety, and basic clinical skills.

This workshop is open to high school students with an interest in health care careers. Space is limited to ensure a high-quality, immersive experience and appropriate learner-to-instructor ratios.

Dates: Three consecutive days

Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily

Format: In-person, hands-on immersive training

Audience: High school students interested in nursing and allied health professions
