Each HeartCode® course includes a Provider Manual eBook that should be reviewed first and then proceed through the personalized adaptive learning path of the course. Each course is presented in the form of self-directed learning content, probing questions, and Cognitive Assessment Activities. Upon successful completion of the online component, participants will then complete a hand-on skills session that will include skills demonstration and practice, resuscitation simulations, and assessment. Continuing Education credit is available for licensed healthcare professionals from AHA for each of the courses. The online portion of the HeartCode® course must be completed before the skills session.
